    The vertical multistage fire pump type XBD-L is a vertical multistage centrifugal pump with single suction, designed and developed according to market demand. It is intended to transport clean water with a temperature below 80 °C or liquids with physicochemical properties similar to water (non-corrosive), and is used exclusively for fire water supply.     Structural features of the vertical multistage fire pump XBD-L:
     
    The vertical fire pump XBD-L has a segmented vertical multistage structure, joined in one piece with four bolts connecting the inlet section, middle section, and outlet section. The water inlet is at the lower inlet section of the pump, and the water outlet is at the upper outlet section. According to different installation and usage requirements, the outlet section can rotate 90°, 180°, 270°, and other four positions. If the user does not specify, the outlet section is generally installed in the 180° direction.
     
    The main parts of the pump are: inlet section, middle section, outlet section, guide vanes, impeller, shaft, balance drum, balance sleeve, sealing ring, etc. Most of the axial force of the pump is supported by the balance drum, and the residual axial force is supported by the centrifugal thrust bearing at the upper end. The pump seal can be packing or mechanical according to user requirements.
     
    Viewed from the motor end, the pump rotates counterclockwise; the entire pump rotor assembly is supported by the centrifugal thrust bearing at the upper end and the water bearing at the lower end, and the centrifugal thrust bearing is lubricated with calcium-based grease.
     
    Installation steps for the XBD-L multistage fire pump include placing the pump on the base, leveling it, and connecting the pump pipes, etc.
     
           Installation precautions:
     
    1. The motor shaft and pump shaft must be aligned in the same plane;
     
    2. A gap of 3 to 5 mm must be maintained between the motor coupling and the pump coupling;
     
    3. The pressure gauge on the inlet and outlet pipes should preferably be installed at a distance of two diameters from the flange, and should not be installed next to elbows or valves to avoid interference from unstable flow;
     
    4. The inlet and outlet pipes must have supports to reduce external forces on the pump and vibrations in the piping system.

    Usually, if you want to get an accurate quote, it is recommended that you provide us with the following information: pump flow rate, head, on-site operating voltage, frequency, temperature of the conveyed liquid, pH value, solid particle content, on-site installation conditions (horizontal or vertical installation), and other related details.     There are many models and configurations of centrifugal pumps. Except for a small number of commonly used standard models that are in stock, the vast majority of models and configurations are not stocked and are customized products. We need to first select the pump based on your site conditions such as flow rate, head, medium temperature, pH value, and installation conditions. After determining the pump model and configuration, we can then place an order with the workshop for production.
