    Product Description

The PNL type vertical submersible sludge pump series are single-stage, single-suction sludge pumps (vertical and horizontal). They are mainly used to transport liquids such as water, oil, acids and alkalis, emulsions, suspensions, and liquid metals; they can also transport liquid-gas mixtures and liquids with suspended solids. They are suitable for construction, geology, mining, environmental protection, chemical industry, and other sectors to transport sand, sludge, and wastewater. They are characterized by long service life, simple structure, and reliable operation.

The PNL type vertical sludge pump is used in mining, metallurgy, municipal construction, chemical, dyeing, and other sectors to pump various suspensions containing mobile sand, small lumps of sludge, etc. It can also be used in rural areas to suction sludge from rivers, ponds, excrement, and pulp-like liquids; additionally, it is suitable for transporting mineral sand suspensions in cities and factories, as well as for suctioning yellow sand and underground sludge. Depending on the medium being suctioned, the passage parts can be changed to different materials, making it suitable for transporting abrasive or corrosive suspended materials. The maximum transport concentration is 50-60% by weight. The 3PNL and 4PNL sludge pumps are equipment for basic construction engineering drilling rigs and can be used in mining, metallurgy, power plants, and other sectors to transport solid-liquid two-phase fluids.

    Installation of the slurry pump:

    1. Preparation before installation
    (1) Check the pump and motor to confirm that they have not been damaged during transportation and unloading.
    (2) Prepare tools and lifting machinery, and check the machine base according to the drawing.
    2. Installation order
    (1) The complete pump set with base already has the motor installed; when leveling the base, it is not necessary to disassemble the pump and motor.
    (2) Place the base on the foundation, preparing to level and fill with concrete.
    (3) Use a level to check the horizontality of the base using the pump outlet surface; after leveling, install the anchor bolts and fill with concrete.
    (4) Place a steel ruler over the coupling (measure top, bottom, front, and back) to check if the pump and motor shafts are aligned.
    (5) After the concrete fixing the anchor bolts is completely dry, tighten the bolt nuts and check the horizontality of the assembly again; if there is any irregularity, level with shims.
    (6) Install the suction and discharge pipes; when connecting the pipes to the pump, avoid the weight and pressure of the pipes increasing on the pump to prevent deformation.
    (7) Clean the environment and maintain hygiene.

    Maintenance of the slurry pump:

    (1) Check for looseness in the pump and pipe connections; manually rotate the pump to check its flexibility and verify the motor rotation direction.
    (2) Connect cooling water to the mechanical seal joint.
    (3) Add priming water to the pump.
    (4) Close the gate valve of the outlet pipe and the outlet pressure gauge.
    (5) Turn on the motor; when the pump operates normally, open the outlet pressure gauge and gradually open the gate valve until reaching the appropriate pressure; at the same time, check the motor load.
    (6) Control the flow rate and manometric height within the range indicated on the pump plate to ensure prolonged operation near the point of maximum efficiency and achieve the greatest energy savings.
    (7) During operation, the bearing temperature should not exceed 35℃ above ambient temperature, and the maximum temperature should not exceed 80℃.
    (8) If any abnormal noise is detected during operation, stop the pump immediately to inspect the cause.
    (9) When stopping the pump, first close the gate valve and pressure gauge, then turn off the motor.
    (10) Pay attention to bearing lubrication and periodically apply lubricating grease in the bearing chamber.
    (11) In winter, after stopping the pump, open the drain plug at the bottom to empty the water and prevent freezing.
    (12) For prolonged use, completely disassemble the pump, dry the moisture, apply grease to moving parts and joints, and store it properly.

    FAQ

    Q

What products do you mainly produce?

    A

Zoomlion Pump Industry manufactures various large industrial centrifugal pumps. The main products include: self-balancing multistage pumps, multistage centrifugal pumps, single-stage centrifugal pumps, split-case pumps, chemical pumps, submersible pumps, pipeline pumps, long-shaft pumps, condenser pumps, and more.

    Q

Can you help me choose a model?

    A

Of course! If the water pump model is not selected accurately, it can cause significant problems. After you take it back, it might be either too small to meet the usage requirements or too large, resulting in higher electricity and fuel costs, increasing the operating expenses.

    Q

Why is the price quotation so slow?

    A

Because centrifugal pumps are non-standard custom products with many models and a wide price range. Even for the same model, the price varies greatly depending on the materials and configurations used. Taking the most common pump accessory—the impeller—as an example, the price of a stainless steel impeller is several times that of a cast iron impeller. Therefore, we need to clearly confirm the relevant information to provide you with an accurate price. Normally, if you provide comprehensive information, we can quote within 5 minutes.

    Q

What information should I provide when I need a quote?

    A

Usually, if you want to get an accurate quote, it is recommended that you provide us with the following information: pump flow rate, head, on-site operating voltage, frequency, temperature of the conveyed liquid, pH value, solid particle content, on-site installation conditions (horizontal or vertical installation), and other related details. If you are not very familiar with these, it’s okay; our sales manager will assist you in determining them.

    Q

Do you have centrifugal pumps in stock?

    A

There are many models and configurations of centrifugal pumps. Except for a small number of commonly used standard models that are in stock, the vast majority of models and configurations are not stocked and are customized products. We need to first select the pump based on your site conditions such as flow rate, head, medium temperature, pH value, and installation conditions. After determining the pump model and configuration, we can then place an order with the workshop for production.

    Q

What is your usual delivery time?

    A

Models in stock can be shipped by the next day at the latest. Others are custom-made, and depending on the product size and specific project conditions, the delivery time is generally between 7-90 days. Please consult our sales manager for details: 0731-88632200
