    The I-IB screw slurry pump is a single-screw transport pump, whose main working component is the spiral-shaped eccentric screw (called rotor) and the screw lining with an internal surface in the shape of a double helix (called stator). Its operating principle is that when the motor drives the pump shaft to rotate, the screw rotates around its own axis and simultaneously rolls along the internal surface of the lining, thus forming the pump.

    Product Description

    　　The horizontal sludge pump type HB is a single-screw transport pump, whose main working components are the eccentric screw (called rotor) and the screw casing with an internal surface shaped like a double helix (called stator). Its operating principle is that when the motor turns the pump shaft, the screw rotates around its own axis and, at the same time, rolls over the internal surface of the casing, thus forming sealed chambers in the pump. For each complete turn of the screw, the liquid in the sealed chamber advances a distance equal to the screw pitch. With the continuous transmission of the screw, the liquid moves helically from one sealed chamber to another, and is finally expelled from the pump body.

    　　The type I-1B screw slurry pump is a new machine for transporting liquids, with advantages such as simple structure, safe and reliable operation, easy maintenance, continuous and uniform liquid output, and stable pressure. The metal parts in contact with the material are made of high-quality stainless steel, the lining is made of reliable non-toxic and odorless rubber, the working temperature can reach 100℃, and it can be used to transport food slurries and viscous solutions of 1-1000000 cP containing solid particles or gels, as well as corrosive media in suspensions.

    　　The horizontal slurry pump type I-1B has a simple structure, safe and reliable operation, easy maintenance, uniform liquid output, and stable pressure. All metal parts in contact with the material are made of stainless steel, the lining is made of reliable non-toxic and odorless rubber, the working temperature can exceed 120℃, and it is widely used in industries such as food, metallurgy, and chemicals.

     

    Working conditions of the horizontal slurry pump type I-IB:

    　　Start-up

    　　1. Prepare the necessary keys and tools.

    　　2. Check that the frame, bearings, and oil chamber have no lubricant.

    　　3. Check that the hollow shaft and shaft seal are in proper condition; the stuffing box should not tighten the packing too much, allowing a slight drip leakage.

    　　4. Turn the coupling by hand or with a pipe wrench, paying attention to strange noises or blockages inside the pump; if any, remove them before starting.

    　　5. Fully fill the pump chamber with liquid; avoid dry operation to prevent damage to the lining.

    　　6. Fully open the gate valve of the outlet pipe.

    　　7. Turn on the motor.

    　　Stop

    　　1. Close the suction pipe valve.

    　　2. Close the discharge pipe valve.

    　　3. Stop the motor.

    　　4. When the pump is stopped for a long period, drain the liquid from the sand chamber and rinse with water or steam.

    　　Operation

    　　1. Regularly check the temperature of the pump and motor bearings; the maximum temperature should not exceed 75℃.

    　　2. Add lubricant to ensure good lubrication of the bearings.

    　　3. During operation, if abnormal noises or excessive vibrations are detected, stop the pump immediately to inspect and resolve the issue.

    　　4. If the flow rate decreases significantly, it indicates that the rubber lining is worn; replace the lining before continuing operation.

    There are many models and configurations of centrifugal pumps. Except for a small number of commonly used standard models that are in stock, the vast majority of models and configurations are not stocked and are customized products. We need to first select the pump based on your site conditions such as flow rate, head, medium temperature, pH value, and installation conditions. After determining the pump model and configuration, we can then place an order with the workshop for production.
