    Product Description

    　　The WQB series of explosion-proof submersible pumps for factory drainage is a new explosion-proof product developed by our company. The explosion-proof performance meets the requirements of standards GB3836.1-2010 "Explosive atmospheres Part 1: General requirements for equipment" and GB3836.2-2010 "Explosive atmospheres Part 2: Equipment protected by flameproof enclosures 'd'", manufactured with explosion-proof type, explosion-proof mark: ExdIIBT4. Based on the common submersible drainage pump, the product has been comprehensively optimized and innovated in aspects such as hydraulic model, sealing technology, mechanical structure, and protection control, featuring outstanding characteristics such as safety and reliability, high efficiency and energy saving, easy installation, and good drainage performance. The product may include a mechanical stirring device to remove sediment.

    Main uses and conditions of use of the explosion-proof submersible drainage pump series WQB

    Main uses:

    The WQB explosion-proof submersible pump product is used for the discharge of wastewater in places with explosive mixtures of combustible gases or vapors with air of class ⅡB/ⅡC and temperature group T1-T4 in factories. It is suitable for the chemical coal industry, petrochemical, municipal engineering, urban industry, hospitals, hotels, residential complexes, among others.

    Conditions of use:

    1. Places requiring explosion-proof protection according to the product mark.

    2. Power supply voltage: 380V, 660V, 1140V, three-phase, 50Hz.

    3. Temperature of the transported medium: 0-40℃ (for higher temperatures there are hot water pump models).

    4. pH value of the transported medium: 5-9.

    5. Medium density: ≤1100Kg/m3.

    6. Maximum immersion depth: 10m.

     

    Structural features of the explosion-proof submersible drainage pump series WQB

    1. Cable entry sealing device

    Uses two-level sealing with rubber rings to completely prevent water infiltration from the cable into the motor.

    2. Motor

    Specially designed explosion-proof submersible motor, with protection grade IPX8, stator winding insulation class F (155℃), prolonging the insulation life under normal temperature rise conditions.

    3. Rotor assembly

    The rotor assembly undergoes strict dynamic balance testing at level G6.3 to ensure minimal vibration during pump operation, extending the life of bearings and seals.

    4. Bearings

    The upper deep groove ball bearing and the lower angular contact ball bearing provide reliable shaft support. Low noise bearings are used to ensure stable operation of the electric pump.

    5. Shaft seal

    The shaft seal uses two sets of mechanical seals that operate independently, providing double security. The mechanical seals work in the oil chamber, with good lubrication and cooling conditions, ensuring a long service life.

    6. Pump casing

    The pump casing is of single volute type, with large cross-section, good anti-clogging performance.

    7. Sealing ring

    The sealing ring is replaceable, reducing maintenance costs. It can be made of high chrome, hard and wear-resistant material.

    8. Agitator head (optional)

    Has mixing function to prevent sedimentation, allowing water to mix evenly with sediments and solid particles, significantly improving the pump's passage capacity.

    9. Impeller

    The impeller is double-channel, compatible with the pump casing, designed for the entire head without overload, ensuring the motor is not overloaded from maximum to minimum head. The impeller channel is wide, with good anti-clogging performance.

    10. Pressure relief chamber

    The rear part of the impeller is designed with a pressure relief chamber that effectively balances the axial force of the impeller, reducing the load on the bearings and extending their service life.

    11. Leakage sensor in the oil chamber

    A leakage sensor is installed in the oil chamber of the shaft seal. When water enters the oil chamber to a certain level, the sensor sends a signal and an external control device protects the electric pump.

    12. Cooling water jacket

    For motors over 22 kilowatts, an external cooling water jacket is installed that uses the pumped water to cool the motor in circulation, ensuring normal pump operation even at the lowest water level.

    13. Motor winding temperature sensor

    The motor stator winding is equipped with a PT100 temperature sensor to monitor the winding temperature and protect the motor against overheating through a specialized external control device.

    Key explosion protection points

    When the explosive gas mixture inside the explosion-proof submersible pump motor explodes, the explosion-proof casing must not be damaged and the internal flame must not ignite the external explosive environment formed by one or more gases or vapors through the casing joints. The parts composing the explosion-proof casing undergo hydraulic tests according to GB3836.2-2000 to ensure they withstand the maximum internal explosion pressure.

    The explosion-proof mark of this submersible wastewater pump is ExdIIBT4, suitable for places with explosive mixtures of combustible gases or vapors with air of class ⅡB and temperature group T1-T4 in factories. The maximum surface temperature of the unit must comply with the following table:

    Because centrifugal pumps are non-standard custom products with many models and a wide price range. Even for the same model, the price varies greatly depending on the materials and configurations used. Taking the most common pump accessory—the impeller—as an example, the price of a stainless steel impeller is several times that of a cast iron impeller. Therefore, we need to clearly confirm the relevant information to provide you with an accurate price. Normally, if you provide comprehensive information, we can quote within 5 minutes.

    What information should I provide when I need a quote?

    Usually, if you want to get an accurate quote, it is recommended that you provide us with the following information: pump flow rate, head, on-site operating voltage, frequency, temperature of the conveyed liquid, pH value, solid particle content, on-site installation conditions (horizontal or vertical installation), and other related details. If you are not very familiar with these, it’s okay; our sales manager will assist you in determining them.

    Do you have centrifugal pumps in stock?

    There are many models and configurations of centrifugal pumps. Except for a small number of commonly used standard models that are in stock, the vast majority of models and configurations are not stocked and are customized products. We need to first select the pump based on your site conditions such as flow rate, head, medium temperature, pH value, and installation conditions. After determining the pump model and configuration, we can then place an order with the workshop for production.
