    The QY type oil-immersed submersible pump is a mobile drainage and shallow water irrigation unit with an integrated pump and motor. Its feature is that the motor is completely filled with mechanical oil, which improves the working conditions of the mechanical seal and prevents external water from entering the motor interior. The oil quickly conducts heat from inside the motor, achieving good cooling effect and significantly reducing the motor temperature rise, which increases the overload capacity of the submersible pump. Additionally, the bearings of the oil-immersed submersible pump operate submerged in oil, ensuring lubrication and cooling, so the bearing life is longer than that of other types of submersible pumps.

    Operating conditions and features of the QY type oil-filled submersible pump

           The QY type submersible pump, abbreviated as electric submersible pump, consists of three parts: pump, seal, and motor. The pump is located at the top of the electric pump, with a centrifugal or axial structure; the motor is at the bottom, being a three-phase asynchronous motor filled with oil. An internal integrated mechanical seal is used between the pump and motor, and each fixed seal uses a static rubber "o" ring for sealing.

           Application conditions:

           1. The temperature of the transported medium must be below +40℃;

           2. The pH value of the medium must be between 6.5 and 8.5;

           3. The proportion of solid impurities in the water must not exceed 0.1% and the particle size must not be greater than 0.2 mm;

           4. The electric pump must be used within an appropriate range near the rated height. The working height must not be less than 85% of the rated height, as a lower value may activate the thermal protector, stopping the pump and affecting its normal use;

           5. The power supply frequency is 50Hz, the operating voltage range is between 342-420V, and the three-phase voltage must be balanced. If the power supply is far, the power cable should be extended, and the cable cross-section should be larger than that of the pump cable (i.e., more than 1.5mm2) to maintain a stable voltage between 342-420V;

           6. The three-phase pump must not be used with a missing phase; overcurrent and ground fault protection must be installed.

    Usually, if you want to get an accurate quote, it is recommended that you provide us with the following information: pump flow rate, head, on-site operating voltage, frequency, temperature of the conveyed liquid, pH value, solid particle content, on-site installation conditions (horizontal or vertical installation), and other related details. If you are not very familiar with these, it’s okay; our sales manager will assist you in determining them.

    Do you have centrifugal pumps in stock?

    There are many models and configurations of centrifugal pumps. Except for a small number of commonly used standard models that are in stock, the vast majority of models and configurations are not stocked and are customized products. We need to first select the pump based on your site conditions such as flow rate, head, medium temperature, pH value, and installation conditions. After determining the pump model and configuration, we can then place an order with the workshop for production.
