    The fluoroplastic chemical pump type FSB belongs to a horizontal chemical pump. 
    The body of the pump uses a metal casing internally coated with perfluoroethylene polypropylene (F46), the pump cover, the impeller, and the shaft sleeve are made with metal inserts coated with molded fluoroplastic by sintering, the shaft seal uses an external bellows mechanical seal, the static ring is made of 99% alumina ceramic or silicon nitride, the dynamic ring is made of PTFE-filled material, resistant to corrosion and wear, suitable for transporting highly corrosive media under severe conditions such as sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, acetic acid, hydrofluoric acid, nitric acid, aqua regia, strong alkalis, strong oxidizing agents, organic solvents, reducing agents, being one of the equipment with the highest corrosion resistance in the industry. 
     
     
    The flow passage parts of the fluoroplastic alloy centrifugal pumps FSB and FSB-D are completely made of fluoroplastic alloy, with a compact structure, simple operation, and economical price.     　　1. Pump body: the left and right connection parts are embedded with a steel flange ring, each made of molded plastic alloy.

    　　2. On the right side of the rear cover, there is an embedded stainless steel plate (1Cr18Ni9Ti) made of molded plastic alloy.

    　　3. Impeller: uses a shaft connection method, the metal shaft is made of high-quality steel processed precisely and externally coated with molded plastic alloy, ensuring that the impeller and the metal shaft are firmly integrated, guaranteeing that the root of the shaft and the back of the impeller withstand the torque during rotation, so that the part in contact with the medium is made of plastic alloy.

    　　4. Mechanical seal: uses adjustable face seal technology without cooling water type WB2 and ST, made with silicon carbide, high-purity alumina ceramic, PTFE filler, graphite, and other materials.

    　　The flow passage parts of the horizontal chemical centrifugal pumps FSB and FSB-D are completely made of fluoroplastic alloy, with a compact structure, simple operation, and economical price. The casings, impellers, and mechanical seals of both models are interchangeable, making them very popular among users.

    　　The horizontal chemical centrifugal pumps FSB and FSB-D use an advanced external PTFE bellows mechanical seal, which can compensate for the radial movement of the pump shaft, it is a simple external face seal, easy to assemble and disassemble, with visible working status, good corrosion and wear resistance, with multiple layers of protection that extend the service life of the mechanical seal; for corrosive media with solid particles, a hard-to-hard mechanical seal (silicon carbide against silicon carbide) can be used without cooling water, and for special corrosive media such as strong alkalis and hydrofluoric acid, a pressureless sintered silicon carbide seal is used; when selecting the model, the user must consider the solid content and special corrosiveness of the medium.

    　　The horizontal chemical pump type FSB has a compact and reasonable structure, high corrosion resistance, hermetic and reliable sealing, stable operation, low noise, high mechanical strength, does not age, does not decompose toxins, easy maintenance, smooth conduits, high efficiency, and energy saving. It eliminates leaks, drips, and escapes, and is widely used in industries such as chemicals, acid production, alkali production, casting, rare earths, pesticides, dyes, pharmaceuticals, paper, electroplating, electrolysis, pickling, radio, chemical sheet manufacturing, research institutes, and national defense.

     

    Instructions for use of the horizontal chemical pump

    　　Starting and stopping

    　　1. Fill the pump with liquid (priming).

    　　2. Check that the oil level in the support chamber is within the specified range.

    　　3. Check the rotation direction of the motor and verify the pump placement mark.

    　　4. Close the outlet valve and the pressure gauge plug.

    　　5. Start the motor, open the pressure gauge plug, and slowly open the outlet valve. When the pressure gauge needle reaches the required position, stop adjusting the size of the outlet valve.

    　　6. To stop, first close the outlet valve and then cut off the power supply.

     

    Disassembly and assembly of the horizontal chemical pump

    　　Disassembly

    　　1. The pump and the motor are connected by a claw coupling; to disassemble, first loosen the 4 connection bolts between the support and the base to separate the pump from the motor.

    　　2. Loosen the connection bolts of the rear cover of the pump and gently tap the body of the pump with a wooden handle to separate it.

    　　3. Loosen the suspension bolt of the Morse taper coupling between the impeller shaft and the pump shaft.

    　　4. Loosen the fixed screws of the stationary mechanical seal, gently tap with a wooden hammer the central suspension bolt of the coupling; after loosening the Morse taper between the impeller shaft and the pump shaft, remove the impeller, the rear cover, and the moving ring of the seal; loosen the screws of the gland on the rear cover and remove the static ring.

    　　5. Loosen the left and right stuffing box screws of the pump shaft, remove the pump shaft, the bearing, and clean the oil chamber of the support.

    　　Assembly

    　　Install the dynamic and static seal ring, the rear cover, the stuffing box, the impeller, the pump body, etc., in the reverse order of disassembly and tighten the fastening bolts.

     

    Precautions for the use of horizontal chemical pumps

    　　Installation and precautions

    　　1. Before installation, the pump and motor must be inspected; all parts must be intact and undamaged, and there should be no foreign objects inside the pump.

    　　2. Place the pump in a horizontal position, connect the inlet and outlet pipes, and connect the power supply. Finally, manually rotate the coupling to check for any rubbing; if it turns smoothly and evenly, the installation is complete.

    　　3. The rigidity of the plastic alloy centrifugal pump is lower than that of the metal ones, so the weight of the pipes should not rest directly on the pump body; the inlet and outlet pipes should have additional supports. For pumps with high lift, a check valve should be installed at the outlet to prevent damage from water hammer in case of sudden stop.

    　　4. All joints must be kept sealed to prevent air or liquid leaks that affect the performance of the pump.

    　　5. If vibration or abnormal noises are detected during operation, the pump must be stopped immediately to inspect the cause and only resume work after resolving the issue.

After determining the pump model and configuration, we can then place an order with the workshop for production.
