    　　 The corrosion-resistant horizontal chemical centrifugal pump type AFB is a single-stage, single-suction centrifugal pump with cantilever support, designed to resist corrosion. It is an improvement based on the corrosion-resistant pump type FB manufactured by Zhonglian Pump Industry, which uses a new power shaft seal device with an auxiliary impeller. The parts that are in contact with the transported medium are made of 1Cr18Ni9Ti material.

    Installation and disassembly of the horizontal corrosion-resistant chemical pump type AFB

    　 　1. Before installing the mechanical seal, check if all components are damaged. If there is damage, they must be repaired or replaced.

    　　2. Strictly inspect the friction surfaces of the moving ring and the fixed ring, there should be no scratches or damage. Before assembly, apply a layer of clean oil on the surfaces of the moving and fixed rings.

    　　3. During assembly, pay attention to eliminate deviations and correctly adjust the compression of the spring so that it is neither too loose nor too tight. When tightening the screws, do it evenly to avoid tilting that may cause sealing failures.

    　　4. When disassembling, pay attention to the order of disassembly of the pump.

     

    Instructions for use of the horizontal corrosion-resistant chemical pump type AFB

    　　Starting:

    　　1. Prepare the necessary transport devices and tools.

    　　2. Check if the lubricating grease in the oil cup of the sealing device is full.

    　　3. Check that the direction of rotation of the pump is correct, it is strictly prohibited to reverse the rotation. Incorrect rotation may loosen the impeller nut, allow corrosive medium to enter the shaft neck causing corrosion, which may prevent the pump from operating or even cause the impeller nut to fly off causing accidents. Before starting the pump, secure the coupling cover to ensure safety.

    　　4. If the installation position of the pump is below the liquid level (backflow situation), before starting the pump, open the gate valve of the pipe to fill the pump with liquid. If the installation position is above the liquid level (vacuum situation), before starting the pump, it must be primed and purged to fill the pump and the suction pipe with liquid and eliminate the air inside the pump.

    　　5. After starting the motor, slowly open the outlet gate valve. When the pump is operating normally, open the valve to the necessary degree.

    　　Stopping:

    　　1. Close the gate valve of the pressure pipe.

    　　2. Stop the motor.

    　　3. Close the gate valve of the suction pipe.

    　　4. When the ambient temperature is below the freezing point of the liquid, completely drain the liquid stored inside the pump.

    　　5. If the pump will be out of service for a long period, it must drain the corrosive medium inside the pump, rinse it with clean water, and store it properly after cleaning.

    　　Operation:

    　　1. The temperature of the pump and motor should be frequently checked, especially the temperature of the bearing, which should not exceed 73℃.

    　　2. During operation, if abnormal noises or sounds are detected, stop immediately to inspect and eliminate the fault before continuing.

    　　3. Pay attention to the oil cup of the sealing device, maintain the oil storage and replenish in time to ensure lubrication.

    　　4. The mechanical seal is used in clean media without suspended particles. Therefore, special attention should be paid to cleaning the pipes in new systems.
