    The long shaft and single suction submersible centrifugal chemical pump type FY is a single-stage submersible centrifugal chemical pump. It is a new type of fluoroplastic submersible pump produced by Zhonglian Pump Industry, a manufacturer of centrifugal chemical pumps, based on the traditional corrosion-resistant plastic submersible pump, integrating advanced technologies of similar products and designed with improvements. Its marking, nominal performance point, and flange connection dimensions adopt the international standard ISO2858, and the technical conditions adopt the ISO5199 standard. Compared to the original corrosion-resistant submersible pump type FY, it has the advantages of small size, high efficiency, good energy-saving effect, and reliable operation. It is suitable for transporting corrosive media containing small solid particles and abrasives.

     Corrosion-resistant submersible chemical pump type FY

    The corrosion-resistant submersible chemical pump type FY eliminates the mechanical seal commonly used in other submersible pumps and uses a uniquely structured impeller, making the pump efficient, energy-saving, leak-free, and with a long service life. Therefore, it is widely used in the petroleum, chemical, pharmaceutical, paper, metallurgical, and wastewater treatment industries. The transport temperature of the pump is generally from 0 to 105 °C. When the temperature is between -20 and 0 °C or between 105 and 180 °C, thermal insulation jackets and cooling jackets can be used, and wear-resistant guide bearings are employed for low or high temperatures; in these cases, the user must specify it. If the transported medium contains a small amount of solid particles, the sliding bearings must be externally lubricated (with clean water or other permitted media at an external pressure greater than 0.2 MPa); in these cases, the user must specify it. The working pressure of the pump is designed for 1.6 MPa.

    1. The corrosion-resistant submerged pump type FY is a vertical submerged pump, with an aesthetic design, that is installed directly on the tank of the transported medium, without taking up additional space, which reduces infrastructure investment.

    2. The mechanical seal is eliminated, solving the problem of frequent wear and constant maintenance of other submerged pumps with mechanical seals, saving operational costs and improving work efficiency.

    3. It uses a unique double balance centrifugal impeller, suitable for transporting clean media without solid particles, with low vibration and noise, and high efficiency; it uses an open double balance impeller to transport unclean liquids with solid particles and short fibers, operating stably and without obstructions.

    Usage conditions:

    1. The temperature of the medium transported by the corrosion-resistant submerged pump type FY is -20~140℃.

    2. The cast iron material pump is suitable for media with a pH value between 5 and 9.

    3. For pumps with open impellers, the diameter of solid particles in the transported liquid must not exceed 30% of the diameter of the pump suction inlet.

    The submerged chemical pump type FY is mainly composed of pump body, pump cover, impeller, shaft, elastic coupling, pipe flange, guide bearing, intermediate pipe, upper and lower outlet pipes, bearing support, base plate, and other parts.

    The pump suction inlet is aligned with the direction of the shaft: the outlet is parallel to the shaft.

    The direction of rotation of the pump, viewed from the suction inlet towards the motor, is clockwise.

    The vertical motor of the submerged chemical pump type FY is fixed to the motor support with double-headed bolts and rotates directly with the pump through an elastic coupling. The intermediate pipe of the pump body, the bearing support, the outlet pipe, and the pipe flange are connected with bolts forming a fixed unit on the base plate. The complete pump is installed in the container via the base plate. Except for the parts in contact with the medium, the main components such as the motor support and the bearing support are made of cast iron.
