    The vertical mixed flow pump type HL is a mixed flow pump with a spiral casing, vertical structure, single stage, and single suction. It features a reasonable structure, reliable use, convenient maintenance and installation, as well as high efficiency, compact size, light weight, small footprint, and a pump body that can rotate 360°. It is suitable for transporting clean water or other liquids with physical and chemical properties similar to water, with a transported medium temperature not exceeding 50 °C. It is mainly used for circulation water in power plants, urban water supply and drainage, water level raising in dry docks, hydraulic projects, and agricultural irrigation, with a very wide range of applications.

    Advantages of the vertical mixed flow pump type HL:

    Good suction performance of the pump, high efficiency; adapts to a wide range of water level variations, can operate in dry or submerged environments. The transmission mode is generally a vertical motor with direct drive.

    (1) Simple operation: since the impeller is above the water surface, before starting the pump, it must be filled with water using a vacuum pump; however, the impeller of the vertical mixed flow pump is generally submerged, so it can start directly.

    (2) Small installation area: including the motor, the vertical mixed flow pump occupies only half the space of a horizontal pump. This is especially advantageous nowadays with large pumps.

    (3) Helps prevent cavitation: the impeller of the vertical mixed flow pump is generally submerged, allowing a higher usable NPSH. Therefore, the pump can operate at flow rates higher than the design point without cavitation.

    However, due to the vertical shaft, the pump is relatively long in the vertical direction, and the lifting height of the crane for disassembly and assembly is high, so sufficient space above the pump is required, which is a disadvantage of vertical pumps. Nevertheless, these pumps are almost always installed outdoors, so this is usually not a problem.

    There are many models and configurations of centrifugal pumps. Except for a small number of commonly used standard models that are in stock, the vast majority of models and configurations are not stocked and are customized products. We need to first select the pump based on your site conditions such as flow rate, head, medium temperature, pH value, and installation conditions. After determining the pump model and configuration, we can then place an order with the workshop for production.
