    　　The horizontal mixed pump type HW is a horizontal mixed pump, single-stage, single-suction, and volute type. It is suitable for transporting clean water or other liquids with physical and chemical properties similar to clean water. The temperature of the transported liquid should not exceed 50 degrees Celsius. It is widely used in agricultural irrigation and drainage, as well as in industrial and urban water supply and drainage. The HW type mixed pump is an upgraded product jointly designed by the national water pump industry and is an energy-saving product promoted by our country's mechanical industry. The flow rate and head of the HW type mixed pump are between centrifugal pumps and axial pumps. It has a small size, light weight, high efficiency, a wide high-efficiency range, simple structure, easy to use, and easy to maintain.

    　　The HW mixed flow pump mainly consists of the pump cover, impeller, pump body, pump shaft, shaft sleeve, and bearing housing (diameter ≤350MM) or bearing bracket (diameter ≥400mm). The pump cover is connected respectively to the pump body and the water inlet pipe. There must be an appropriate gap between the cover plane and the impeller plane. If the gap is too small, friction will occur; if it is too large, the pressurized water inside the pump body will flow back significantly, reducing pump efficiency. The appropriate gap in actual use is 0.3 to 0.7 mm (pushing the shaft towards the pump inlet), and the gap can be adjusted by increasing or decreasing the thickness of the shims.

    　　The shaft sealing device consists of packing, gland, packing ring, and packing box in the pump body (150HW and 200HW pumps do not have a packing ring). Its function is to prevent air from entering the pump and to prevent excessive water leakage along the shaft. The shaft sleeve protects the pump shaft and can be replaced in time after wear.

    　　The pump shaft is supported by a single-row ball bearing and centered. The bearing can be lubricated with oil — the oil amount should be controlled between the marks of the oil indicator; it can also be lubricated with grease — which can be added during pump assembly. During use, it can be replenished by removing the front and rear covers.

    　　The threaded hole on the top of the pump body is used to fill water or connect a vacuum pump for priming.

    　　To expand the pump's usage range and meet different user requirements, the impeller's outer diameter can be cut or impellers with different characteristics can be used (indicated by letters such as "A").

    　　HW mixed flow pump accessories include elbows, foot valves, and pulleys or couplings.

    　　Transmission direction: there is direct transmission and transmission with a variable speed drive. Commonly used motors are electric motors and diesel engines. When ordering, the motor model (power, speed) must be specified to determine the specifications of the coupling or pulley.

    　　Rotation direction: viewed from the pump inlet, the impeller generally rotates counterclockwise (pumps 650HW—5, —7, —10 rotate clockwise).

    Usually, if you want to get an accurate quote, it is recommended that you provide us with the following information: pump flow rate, head, on-site operating voltage, frequency, temperature of the conveyed liquid, pH value, solid particle content, on-site installation conditions (horizontal or vertical installation), and other related details.     Do you have centrifugal pumps in stock?

    There are many models and configurations of centrifugal pumps. Except for a small number of commonly used standard models that are in stock, the vast majority of models and configurations are not stocked and are customized products. We need to first select the pump based on your site conditions such as flow rate, head, medium temperature, pH value, and installation conditions. After determining the pump model and configuration, we can then place an order with the workshop for production.
