Structure type of the ZLB vertical axial pump
Series of ZLB axial pumps Vertical structure, mainly composed of the pump body part and the transmission part. For the vertical axial pump, the pump and motor are installed on two different bases, the axial force of the pump is supported by the motor, the pump bearing is a rubber bearing, and the seal is a packing seal. For the horizontal (inclined) axial pump, the entire pump system consists of the hydraulic conduit, pump body, transmission, motor, and auxiliary equipment. The transmission part is a gear reducer.
The pump body part mainly consists of the inlet bell, impeller assembly, guide body, rubber bearing, pump shaft, curved outlet pipe, and packing seal.
The impeller assembly consists of the impeller base, blades, and tightening nut, and static balance is checked before leaving the factory. When the user needs to adjust the blade installation angle, they can disassemble the impeller assembly, loosen the tightening nut, rotate the blades (if there are slotted screws, they must be removed) to align the blade baseline with the corresponding angular scale on the impeller base, and then tighten the nut. If the user does not specify anything special when ordering, the blade installation angle is 0° when leaving the factory, and the user can adjust it according to the performance curve and performance parameter table.
The pump shaft is made of high-quality carbon structural steel (steel 45), the shaft neck surface is coated with hard chrome to improve wear and corrosion resistance. The radial support of the pump shaft is supported by two rubber bearings, one upper and one lower. Before starting, clean water must be supplied to the packing inlet pipe to lubricate the upper rubber bearing, and the pump can only be stopped after it has expelled water.
A packing seal is used at the shaft hole of the curved outlet pipe, composed of the packing box, packing material (asbestos cord impregnated with oil), and packing cover.
Viewed from the coupling end, the impeller rotation direction is clockwise.
Main parts material: the pump shaft is high-quality carbon steel, the impeller is cast steel or stainless steel, the rest is cast iron or welded sheet metal.
Pump supply scope: complete supply of pump, motor, and base or mounting plate.
Transmission part: according to usage requirements and power configuration, the user must determine the transmission mode when ordering. There are two transmission modes:
(1) Direct transmission device with vertical motor
The vertical motor is installed on the motor base, the upper end of the transmission shaft is connected to the motor shaft by an elastic coupling, and the lower end is connected to the pump shaft by a rigid coupling. When the pump is running, all axial force is supported by the thrust bearing inside the transmission device. The axial displacement of the pump rotor can be adjusted by the nut inside the transmission device.
(2) V-belt transmission device with vertical motor
The vertical motor is installed on the frame and connected to the driving pulley by a key. By adjusting the screws, the frame can slide on the guide to adjust the belt tension. The pulley is fixed to the transmission shaft by a connector. When the pump is running, the axial force is supported by the thrust bearing at the pulley base, and the belt tension is transmitted to the pulley base through the radial bearing, preventing the transmission shaft from bearing radial forces. The axial displacement of the pump rotor can be adjusted by the nut at the top of the transmission device. The axial pump transmission shaft should not be too long, and the user should design the pumping station according to the "L" dimension range specified in the installation drawing.
Pump outlet accessories include 30° curved pipe, straight pipe, expansion joint, diffuser pipe, etc., with an outlet valve at the end. The user can select according to the actual situation and specify when ordering.
Pump support: the weight of the pump body part (except the rotor part) is supported by the base or beam holding the pump body; the weight of the transmission device, motor weight, and axial force (including the rotor part weight) are supported by the floor holding the transmission device.
