    　　The WLZ and WZY type vertical self-priming leak-free pumps are products independently developed by Zhonglian Pump Industry, widely used in the petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, electric power, steel, mining, paper manufacturing, pickling, environmental protection, fire fighting, construction, wastewater treatment industries, among others. They partially replace submerged pumps, long-shaft pumps, submersible pumps for wastewater, or pumps used under frequent start conditions, to transport clean water, seawater, wastewater with small particles (without fibrous substances), and industrial wastewater, as well as oils or various corrosive media.

    Structural features of the WLZ vertical self-priming centrifugal pump without clogging:

    　　Compared with the WFB type self-priming pump without clogging, the WLZ(WZY) type self-priming pump has obvious technical advantages:

    　　1. The water pump impeller has a closed structure, with an efficiency 10%～15% higher than the open structure impeller of the WFB self-priming pump without clogging. For pumps with similar performance parameters, the motor power is generally one level lower, significantly saving energy. In addition, the impeller has good cavitation resistance and the allowable suction depth is 0.5～1m greater than the WFB pump.

    　　2. The pump's self-priming uses a "multi-channel air-water mixture separator (self-priming disc)", which has the outstanding feature of quickly completing the self-priming process. The self-priming time is 1/3～1/2 less than the WFB type pump that uses a single-shell water pressure chamber. In addition, the pump is compact and lightweight.

    　　3. There are two types of water inlets: the WLZ type pump uses a pipe structure, with inlet and outlet that can be oriented in any 360° direction on the plane. The WZY type pump uses bottom suction, with the outlet orientable in any 270° direction on the plane. During maintenance, it is not necessary to disassemble the inlet and outlet pipes, especially the WZY type pump which occupies little space and saves infrastructure investment.

    　　4. The seal uses a series multi-face hydraulic seal, composed of auxiliary impeller seal and stop seal. The WFB vertical self-priming pump does not have a special stop seal for the hydraulic seal, so it is not suitable for frequent starts.

    　　5. The connection between the pump and the motor is rigid and direct. Viewed from the motor end, the pump rotates clockwise.

    　　6. The pump inlet does not require a check valve or electromagnetic vacuum break valve like the WFB pump. It has a special U-tube structure that automatically breaks the siphon and an air balance hole. When stopped, the siphon effect cannot drain the liquid stored in the pump, so as long as it is filled with liquid during the first operation, it is not necessary to add liquid in subsequent operations, achieving a one-time fill for the entire service life.

    　　7. The pump can be equipped with a control cabinet that has functions such as automatic start and stop according to the liquid and overload alarm, achieving automatic operation without human intervention.

Even for the same model, the price varies greatly depending on the materials and configurations used.     Usually, if you want to get an accurate quote, it is recommended that you provide us with the following information: pump flow rate, head, on-site operating voltage, frequency, temperature of the conveyed liquid, pH value, solid particle content, on-site installation conditions (horizontal or vertical installation), and other related details. If you are not very familiar with these, it’s okay; our sales manager will assist you in determining them.

    Do you have centrifugal pumps in stock?

    There are many models and configurations of centrifugal pumps. Except for a small number of commonly used standard models that are in stock, the vast majority of models and configurations are not stocked and are customized products. We need to first select the pump based on your site conditions such as flow rate, head, medium temperature, pH value, and installation conditions. After determining the pump model and configuration, we can then place an order with the workshop for production.
