      The FY type submersible sewage pump is a new type of corrosion-resistant sewage pump produced based on the traditional corrosion-resistant submersible pump, integrating advanced technology from a Swiss company's similar product and improved design; this submersible sewage pump is a single-stage single-suction long-shaft submersible centrifugal pump. It eliminates the mechanical seal commonly used in other submersible pumps and adopts a uniquely structured impeller, making the pump highly efficient, energy-saving, leak-free, anti-entanglement, clog-free, and long-lasting. It is suitable for conveying corrosive media containing slight solid particles and abrasives, thus widely used in petroleum, chemical, pharmaceutical, paper-making, metallurgy, sewage treatment, and other industries.

    The FY type submersible sewage pump eliminates the mechanical seal commonly used in other sewage pumps and adopts a uniquely structured impeller, making the pump highly efficient, energy-saving, leak-free, and long-lasting, thus widely used in petroleum, chemical, pharmaceutical, paper-making, metallurgy, sewage treatment, and other industries. The pump's conveying temperature is generally 0~105°C. When the temperature is between -20~0°C or 105~180°C, insulation jackets and cooling jackets can be used, along with low-temperature or high-temperature wear-resistant guide bearings; users should specify such conditions. If the conveyed medium contains a small amount of solid particles, the sliding bearing should use external lubrication (external connection of clean water or other permitted media with pressure greater than 0.2MPa); users should specify such conditions. The pump's working pressure is designed for 1.6MPa.

    The FY type submerged sewage pump mainly consists of parts such as pump body, pump cover, impeller, shaft, elastic coupling, pipe flange, guide bearing, intermediate pipe, upper and lower discharge pipes, bearing bracket, base plate, etc. The suction inlet of the sewage pump is along the axis direction; the outlet is parallel to the axis. The pump rotation direction, viewed from the suction inlet towards the motor end, is clockwise.

    The vertical motor of the FY type submerged sewage pump is fixed to the motor base with double-headed bolts and directly drives the pump through an elastic coupling. The intermediate pipe, bearing bracket discharge pipe, and pipe flange of the pump body are bolted together as one unit and fixed on the large plate. The entire pump is installed on the container through the base plate. Except for the wetted parts, other main components such as the motor base and bearing bracket are made of cast iron.

      1. The FY corrosion-resistant sewage pump has a vertical structure, an attractive appearance, and is directly installed on the storage tank of the conveyed medium without additional floor space, thus reducing infrastructure investment.

      2. The FY corrosion-resistant sewage pump eliminates mechanical seals, solving the frequent maintenance problems caused by mechanical seal wear in other submerged pumps, saving operating costs and improving work efficiency.

      3. The FY corrosion-resistant sewage pump uses a unique centrifugal double-balanced impeller for conveying clean media without solid particles, featuring very low vibration and noise and high efficiency; it uses an open double-balanced impeller for conveying unclean liquids containing solid particles and short fibers, operating smoothly without clogging.

    Instructions for Use of FY Type Corrosion-Resistant Submerged Sewage Pump:

      Disassembly and Assembly of Submerged Sewage Pump

      (1) To replace or inspect the impeller, close the outlet valve, remove the flange connection bolts and base plate connection bolts, and use lifting equipment to lift the pump out of the container.

      (2) Hang the base plate on the bracket, remove all bolts of the pump body, take out the pump cover and impeller nut, and gently tap the pump body with two hammers to remove the impeller.

      (3) To replace the rolling bearing or packing, keep the base plate stationary, remove the motor and corresponding bracket, remove the pump coupling, gland, and round nut, and take out the bearing housing. To replace the packing, first remove the packing gland, then remove and replace the packing.

      (4) Assembly is the reverse of disassembly; be sure to pay attention to the concentricity of the accessories on the shaft.

      Installation, Use, and Maintenance of Submerged Sewage Pump

      1. After assembling the pump, rotate the coupling to check if it rotates smoothly. Check for any metal friction sounds and whether all component nuts are tightened.

      2. Check the concentricity of the pump shaft and motor shaft. The left-right difference of the outer circle of the two couplings should not exceed 0.1mm, and the gap between the end faces of the two couplings should be maintained at 1 to 2.5mm.

      3. The distance from the pump suction inlet to the bottom of the container should be 2 to 3 times the suction diameter, and the pump body should be more than 2.5 times the diameter away from the container wall.

      4. The discharge pipeline of the submerged sewage pump should be supported by a separate bracket; its weight should not be supported by the pump.

      5. Check the motor rotation direction to ensure the pump rotates in the indicated direction.

      6. Close the gate valve and pressure gauge on the outlet pipeline, and connect the cooling water pipe.

      7. Start the motor, open the pressure gauge, slowly open the outlet gate valve to the required position, and put the pump into normal operation.

      8. Regularly check the condition of the pump and motor. The bearing temperature rise should not exceed 75℃, and the bearing housing should be filled with sufficient grease.

    There are many models and configurations of centrifugal pumps. Except for a small number of commonly used standard models that are in stock, the vast majority of models and configurations are not stocked and are customized products. We need to first select the pump based on your site conditions such as flow rate, head, medium temperature, pH value, and installation conditions. After determining the pump model and configuration, we can then place an order with the workshop for production.
