    Product Description

    The armored pump is a seal-less pump, where the pump and the drive motor are sealed within a pressure vessel filled with the pumped medium. This pressure vessel only has a static seal and a set of cables provides the rotating magnetic field to drive the rotor.

Use of sliding bearings made of graphite lubricated by the transported medium, which reduces operating noise and eliminates the need for manual lubrication, reducing maintenance costs; in recent years, the bearing material has been improved with silicon carbide (SIC) and superhard materials, with a lifespan superior to graphite bearings. 
    5. Vertical structure that can be installed in the pipeline like a valve, facilitating quick and easy installation; during maintenance, it is only necessary to remove the motor and the impeller without disassembling the pipeline. 
    6. Can be installed with dampers or anti-vibration pads to further reduce noise during the operation of the electric pump.

    What should be considered for the maintenance of the sealed pump?
    　　1. Check for looseness in the joints of the sealed pump and the pipes. Turn the pump by hand to see if it is flexible, then test the motor's direction of rotation.
    　　2. Add lubricating oil for bearings in the support; the oil level should be between the two marks on the indicator.
    　　3. Unscrew the priming plug from the pump body and fill with water to prime.
    　　4. Close the gate valve of the outlet pipe, the outlet pressure gauge, and the inlet vacuum gauge tightly.
    　　5. Turn on the motor; when the pump is operating normally, open the outlet pressure gauge and the inlet vacuum gauge. When they show the appropriate pressure, gradually open the gate valve and observe the motor load.
    　　6. Monitor the flow rate and height of the pump within the range indicated on the sealed pump plate to ensure that the pump operates for a long time near the point of maximum efficiency and thus achieve greater energy savings.
    　　7. During the operation of the sealed pump, the temperature of the bearings should not exceed 35 degrees above ambient temperature, and the maximum temperature should not exceed 80 degrees.
    　　8. If an abnormal noise is detected in the sealed pump, stop it immediately to investigate the cause.
    　　9. When stopping the sealed pump, first close the gate valve and the gauges, then stop the motor.
    　　10. During the first month of operation of the sealed pump, change the lubricating oil after 100 hours. Subsequently, change the oil every 500 hours.
    　　11. Regularly adjust the packing gland to ensure that the leakage in the packing chamber is normal.
    　　12. In winter, after stopping the sealed pump, open the drain plug at the bottom of the pump body to empty the water and prevent it from freezing and cracking.
    　　13. If the sealed pump is not going to be used for a long time, completely disassemble it, dry the moisture, apply grease to the moving parts and joints, and store it properly.

    Because centrifugal pumps are non-standard custom products with many models and a wide price range. Even for the same model, the price varies greatly depending on the materials and configurations used. Taking the most common pump accessory—the impeller—as an example, the price of a stainless steel impeller is several times that of a cast iron impeller. Therefore, we need to clearly confirm the relevant information to provide you with an accurate price. Normally, if you provide comprehensive information, we can quote within 5 minutes.

    What information should I provide when I need a quote?

    Usually, if you want to get an accurate quote, it is recommended that you provide us with the following information: pump flow rate, head, on-site operating voltage, frequency, temperature of the conveyed liquid, pH value, solid particle content, on-site installation conditions (horizontal or vertical installation), and other related details. If you are not very familiar with these, it’s okay; our sales manager will assist you in determining them.

    Do you have centrifugal pumps in stock?

    There are many models and configurations of centrifugal pumps. Except for a small number of commonly used standard models that are in stock, the vast majority of models and configurations are not stocked and are customized products. We need to first select the pump based on your site conditions such as flow rate, head, medium temperature, pH value, and installation conditions. After determining the pump model and configuration, we can then place an order with the workshop for production.
