    ZPB type air and water injection pump assembly

           This pump assembly is mainly designed for large and medium water pumps that, by removing the bottom valve, can draw water and allow the pump to operate without a bottom valve, which reduces the workload and achieves significant energy savings, generally between 5% and 27% per ton of water.

           1. This pump is divided according to the control mode into type I (manual control) and type II (automatic control with solenoid valve).

           2. According to user requirements, it can be manufactured with special materials.

           The ZPB type air and water injection pump assembly consists of the PB type injection pump, valves, vacuum gauge, pipes, and accessories.

           By removing the bottom valve from the suction pipe of the pump, energy savings of between 5% and 30% can be achieved compared to having the valve. Depending on the working pressure of the water, this device is divided into low pressure — D (≤1.6MPa), medium pressure — z (≤4MPa), and high pressure — G (≤10MPa). The pressure of the compressed air or steam is from 0.2 to 0.5MPa.

           Installation and use:

           According to the site of use of the water pump, it can be divided into installation for single pump operation or multiple pumps.

           The installation of a single pump implies that each jet pump only sucks and lifts water for that pump.

           The installation of multiple pumps is shown in the figure. This form of installation uses multiple jet pumps for several water pumps. Because multiple working media (i.e., high-pressure water, compressed air, reserve water source) are used as power in the main pump room underground in coal mines, and multiple jet pumps in parallel serve as mutual backup, any operating jet pump can activate any water pump, achieving the elimination of the bottom valves of the central pumps underground. Therefore, this form of installation is called a water supply system with multiple power sources, multiple jet pumps in parallel, and mutual backup.

           Precautions:

           1. When opening small high-pressure valves: when using a shut-off valve, care must be taken not to open the check valve too much to avoid a small opening causing insufficient flow and the jet pump not working; when using a plug valve, it should be opened slowly to avoid damage to the jet pump from hydraulic shocks caused by a sudden opening.

           2. After removing the bottom valve of the pump, the air and water from the pump's balance chamber should be directed to the suction pipe, and it is required that the packing seal on both sides of the pump does not leak air to prevent air from entering the pump during jet work and affecting the suction effect.

    Do you have centrifugal pumps in stock?

    There are many models and configurations of centrifugal pumps. Except for a small number of commonly used standard models that are in stock, the vast majority of models and configurations are not stocked and are customized products. We need to first select the pump based on your site conditions such as flow rate, head, medium temperature, pH value, and installation conditions. After determining the pump model and configuration, we can then place an order with the workshop for production.
