    Product description

    　　The PNJ type pump is a single-stage, single-suction centrifugal pump with rubber lining, capable of transporting mineral slurries that do not contain solid particles with sharp edges. The maximum concentration of transported slurry must not exceed 65% (by weight) and the temperature must not exceed 60℃. Both pump structures are the same, but the materials are different; the PNJF type pump is specially designed to transport corrosive slurries.

    Description of the structure of the coated pump type PNJ

    　　The space between the impeller and the casing, as well as between the impeller and the protective plate, can be adjusted to maintain high efficiency operation. The sealing form of the shaft has two structures: auxiliary impeller and packing. When using the sealing structure with auxiliary impeller, the filling height of the inlet should not exceed 5 m; when using packing, a shaft with a pressure greater than 1 kg/cm2 must be injected to work.

    　　Sealing form: The PNJ and PNJF type pumps have two different sealing structures: packing and auxiliary impeller (the 25PNJ and 25PNJF type pumps only have a sealing structure with auxiliary impeller). Generally, the sealing structure is with packing. If the sealing with auxiliary impeller is chosen, it must be indicated when placing the order. When using sealing with auxiliary impeller, the filling height of the inlet should not exceed 5 meters of water column (for the 25PNJ and 25PNJF pumps it should not exceed 1.5 meters of water column).

    　　According to the use, the shaft of the coated slurry pump type PNJ is made of high-quality carbon steel or nickel-chromium steel; the casing is made of wear-resistant rubber, acid-resistant wear-resistant rubber, or a combination with a steel plate; the impeller has a cast steel frame (for the 25PN and 25PNJF type pumps the frame is made of cast iron) externally coated with wear-resistant rubber, acid-resistant wear-resistant rubber, or rubber.

    Because centrifugal pumps are non-standard custom products with many models and a wide price range. Even for the same model, the price varies greatly depending on the materials and configurations used. Taking the most common pump accessory—the impeller—as an example, the price of a stainless steel impeller is several times that of a cast iron impeller. Therefore, we need to clearly confirm the relevant information to provide you with an accurate price. Normally, if you provide comprehensive information, we can quote within 5 minutes.

    What information should I provide when I need a quote?

    Usually, if you want to get an accurate quote, it is recommended that you provide us with the following information: pump flow rate, head, on-site operating voltage, frequency, temperature of the conveyed liquid, pH value, solid particle content, on-site installation conditions (horizontal or vertical installation), and other related details. If you are not very familiar with these, it’s okay; our sales manager will assist you in determining them.

    Do you have centrifugal pumps in stock?

    There are many models and configurations of centrifugal pumps. Except for a small number of commonly used standard models that are in stock, the vast majority of models and configurations are not stocked and are customized products. We need to first select the pump based on your site conditions such as flow rate, head, medium temperature, pH value, and installation conditions. After determining the pump model and configuration, we can then place an order with the workshop for production.
