    Introduction to column pin coupling:

    　　The column pin coupling with elastic sleeve uses a column pin with an elastic sleeve (rubber material) at one end, which is installed in the holes of the flange of two halves of the coupling to connect both halves. The column pin coupling with elastic sleeve was the most used coupling in China, and by the late 1950s it was established as a standard by the Ministry of Machinery. The JB08-60 elastic ring column pin coupling was the first standard coupling of the ministry in China.

    　　The column pin coupling with elastic sleeve has a relatively simple structure, is easy to manufacture, requires no lubrication or vulcanized metal bonding, and the elastic sleeve is easy to replace without moving the coupling halves. It has some ability to compensate for relative shaft displacement and to dampen vibrations. The elastic sleeve works under compression deformation; due to its thin thickness and small volume, the elastic deformation is limited. Therefore, although it can compensate for shaft displacement and elasticity, the allowed amount of compensation is small and the elasticity is weak. The coupling transmits torque through friction torque on the contact surface generated by the locking force of the pin assembly and the compression of the rubber sleeve. It is suitable for medium and small power shaft transmission systems with rigid mounting bases, high alignment precision, small impact loads, and low damping requirements.

Except for a small number of commonly used standard models that are in stock, the vast majority of models and configurations are not stocked and are customized products. We need to first select the pump based on your site conditions such as flow rate, head, medium temperature, pH value, and installation conditions. After determining the pump model and configuration, we can then place an order with the workshop for production.
