    The claw type coupling is also called plum blossom coupling, the elastic claw type coupling is also called elastic block coupling, it uses several pins made of non-metallic materials, placed in the holes facing each other between the two halves of the coupling and the inner surface of the outer ring, transmitting torque through the pins to connect the two halves of the coupling. The claw type coupling consists of two metal claw discs and an elastomer. The two metal claw discs are generally made of 45 steel, but in cases where load sensitivity is required, aluminum alloy is also used.

    Characteristics of the claw type coupling:

     

    　　(1) Transmits a large torque; for the same torque, the rotation diameter is generally smaller than that of toothed couplings, with small volume and light weight, partially replacing toothed couplings.

Except for a small number of commonly used standard models that are in stock, the vast majority of models and configurations are not stocked and are customized products. We need to first select the pump based on your site conditions such as flow rate, head, medium temperature, pH value, and installation conditions. After determining the pump model and configuration, we can then place an order with the workshop for production.
