Product description

　　The horizontal multistage centrifugal oil pump type DY is a model manufactured by Zhonglian Pump Industry, specially designed for the petrochemical industry, with high temperature and high pressure. It uses an efficient hydraulic model that is energy-saving as recommended by the state, with advantages such as high efficiency, wide performance range, safe and stable operation, low noise, long service life, and easy installation and maintenance; by changing the material of the pump (or the fluid passage part), the type of seal, and adding a cooling system, it can transport hot water, oils, corrosive and abrasive media. The horizontal multistage oil pump is used to transport oil and petroleum products without solid particles and with a viscosity of less than 120 cSt. The medium temperature is from -20℃ to 150℃, with a permissible inlet pressure of 0.6MPa.

Type of structure of the horizontal multistage centrifugal oil pump type DY

1) Inlet and outlet: The horizontal multistage centrifugal pump 100DY16 has horizontal suction and vertical discharge, while other multistage pumps have vertical suction and vertical discharge.

2) Oil seal: It can use mechanical seal or packing seal. The shaft seal has cooling.

3) Type of bearing and lubrication: Sliding bearings with forced circulation lubrication for the DY850-125 pump; sliding bearing with splash lubrication from an oil ring for the DYⅠ85-67, DYⅠ155-67, and DYⅡ155-67 pumps; others use roller bearings with grease lubrication.

4) Support: The DYⅡ155-67 pump has a central support, while other pumps have foot support.

5) Direction of rotation:
Viewed from the motor end, the pump rotates clockwise.

6) Main materials of the parts:
Material of the fluid passage parts: DYⅠ, DY, YD are made of cast iron; DYⅡ is made of cast steel; DYⅢ is made of cast stainless steel.

7) Scope of supply of the pump:
Complete supply of pump, explosion-proof motor, common base or own base, check valve, gate valve, and spare parts.

Description of the structure of the horizontal multistage centrifugal oil pump type DY

1. Pump casing part
The multistage pump casing is mainly formed by the bearing, front section, middle section, rear section, and guide vanes, joined with bolts to form an assembly. The center line of the inlet in the front section is horizontal, and the center line of the outlet in the rear section is vertical.
2. Rotor part
The rotor part is mainly composed of the bearing and the parts mounted on the shaft such as the impeller, shaft sleeve, and balance disc. The shaft parts are fixed to the shaft by keys and sleeve nuts to form an assembly. The complete rotor is supported by bearings at both ends in the pump casing, and the number of impellers depends on the number of stages of the pump.
3. Bearing part
The bearings of the horizontal multistage pump type D can be sliding bearings or roller bearings, depending on the model, and none support axial force. During operation, the rotor part is allowed to move axially within the pump casing, and centered bearings should not be used.
4. Pump sealing
The sealing surfaces between the front, middle, and rear sections of the pump use molybdenum disulfide lubricating grease; the sealing between the rotating and fixed parts is done using sealing rings, guide sleeves, and packing. When the wear of the sealing rings and guide sleeves affects the operation and performance of the pump, they must be replaced in a timely manner.
5. Balancing mechanism
The balancing mechanism is composed of a balancing ring, balancing disc, and balancing sleeve, and is used to balance the axial force of the pump. Complete supply of pump, explosion-proof motor, common base or own base, check valve, gate valve, and spare parts.

Of course! If the water pump model is not selected accurately, it can cause significant problems. After you take it back, it might be either too small to meet the usage requirements or too large, resulting in higher electricity and fuel costs, increasing the operating expenses.

Why is the price quotation so slow?

Because centrifugal pumps are non-standard custom products with many models and a wide price range. Even for the same model, the price varies greatly depending on the materials and configurations used. Taking the most common pump accessory—the impeller—as an example, the price of a stainless steel impeller is several times that of a cast iron impeller. Therefore, we need to clearly confirm the relevant information to provide you with an accurate price. Normally, if you provide comprehensive information, we can quote within 5 minutes.

What information should I provide when I need a quote?

Usually, if you want to get an accurate quote, it is recommended that you provide us with the following information: pump flow rate, head, on-site operating voltage, frequency, temperature of the conveyed liquid, pH value, solid particle content, on-site installation conditions (horizontal or vertical installation), and other related details. If you are not very familiar with these, it’s okay; our sales manager will assist you in determining them.

Do you have centrifugal pumps in stock?

There are many models and configurations of centrifugal pumps. Except for a small number of commonly used standard models that are in stock, the vast majority of models and configurations are not stocked and are customized products. We need to first select the pump based on your site conditions such as flow rate, head, medium temperature, pH value, and installation conditions. After determining the pump model and configuration, we can then place an order with the workshop for production.

What is your usual delivery time?
