The multi-stage boiler feed pump type DG is a segmented multi-stage horizontal centrifugal pump with single suction, suitable for transporting clean water at temperatures below 250°C or non-corrosive liquids with physical-chemical properties similar to water. It is widely used in power plants, metallurgy, heating, and other sectors for boiler feed, with a maximum lift height of up to 1800 meters. The casing of the boiler feed pump can be disassembled axially along the axis line. The pump model DG85-80×8 has the suction inlet oriented vertically upwards and the outlet also vertically upwards, perpendicular to the axis. From the drive side, the direction of rotation of the boiler water pump is clockwise. The manufacturer Zhonglian Pump Industry can produce pumps with counterclockwise rotation according to user needs, which must be specified when placing the order.

Type of structure of the multi-stage boiler feed pump type DG

The multi-stage boiler feed pump type DG is a segmented multi-stage horizontal centrifugal pump with a single casing and single suction, with vertical inlet and vertical outlet upwards. The specific structure is as follows:
1. Stator part: mainly composed of the front section, middle section, guide vanes, rear section, bearing support, and balance chamber cover, connected by rods and nuts. The wings of the front and rear sides are fixed to the pump seat with bolts and nuts.
2. Rotor components: mainly composed of the impeller, impeller stop sleeve, balance sleeve, balance disc, and shaft sleeve, secured with small round nuts and fixed to the shaft with keys to prevent rotation. The rotor is supported by bearings at both ends. The rotor is directly connected to the motor via a pin coupling. To compensate for expansion, a toothed washer is installed between the last stage and the balance sleeve, which must be replaced during pump maintenance.
3. Balance mechanism: this pump uses a fully automatic axial balance hydraulic device composed of four pieces: balance plate, balance disc, balance sleeve, and balance stop sleeve.
4. Direction of rotation: viewed from the motor end, the pump rotates clockwise.
5. Material of the parts: the parts that pass the fluid of the pump, except for models DG85-80 and 200DG43 which are made of cast steel, are made of cast iron.
6. Scope of supply: complete supply of pump, motor, check valve, gate valve, common base or own base.

Steps for installing the multi-stage boiler feed pump type DG
1. Preparation
Before assembly, all pump parts, especially the machined surfaces that fit together, must be thoroughly cleaned.
Count all parts and classify and number them according to the assembly order.
2. Assembly of the pump parts
Pay attention to correctly install the sealing ring of the middle section to prevent it from falling.
Ensure to correctly align the anti-rotation pin of the guide vanes.
Tighten the casing rod nuts symmetrically to maintain proper tension; insufficient tightening may cause leaks at the middle section joint, while excessive tightening may deform the stator parts. The tightening torque with the wrench during assembly should be approximately 5550 Nm. Tighten the rods symmetrically.
After basically tightening the rods, use an indicator to check that the non-parallelism between the front and rear sections is ≤0.1mm. Measure the total deviation of the rotor, which must meet the requirements of the assembly drawing.
Install the front cover, low-pressure end cover, bearings, and lower bushings, and raise the shaft to the central position.
Use a special lifting device and an indicator to check the oscillation of the balance sleeve face, which must meet the requirements of the general assembly drawing.
Assemble the rotor components and tighten the locking nuts. The deviation after installing the balance disk must meet the requirements of the general assembly plan.
Install the end caps, the bearing body, and the upper and side bushings, ensuring that the clearances meet the specified values for the quality of the bushings.
Adjust the center of the bushings on both sides and, once adjusted, lock the adjustment nuts.
3. Thrust bearing assembly
The assembly of the thrust bearing components is done by scraping the copper sheets according to the requirements of the bearing component; when assembling, the thrust sheets must rotate flexibly. 1.9.2 After installing the thrust bearing, the axial play between the balance disk and the balance sleeve must be between 0.04 and 0.08 mm according to the requirements of the general assembly drawing, and the play adjustment is done with an adjustment ring.
After adjusting the play, install the thrust bearing and the thrust disk, and tighten the locking nut.
The pump body and the pump cover form the working chamber of the impeller; on the water inlet and outlet flanges, there are threaded holes to install vacuum and pressure gauges, and at the bottom of the pump body, there are threaded holes to drain the wastewater.
The impeller is a simple and closed suction type, with a balance disk that balances most of the axial force, and a thrust bearing that supports the small residual part of the axial force; the arrangement of the bearing keeps the shaft in a stable state of tension bar. Before assembly, the impeller must undergo strict static balance verification to ensure smooth operation.
The pump shaft is supported by two Babbitt alloy sliding bearings, which are mounted in the bearing body in the pump support and lubricated with light oil.
In the pump body, there is a sealing ring that can improve the volumetric efficiency of the pump and, on the other hand, prevent high-pressure water from returning to the suction chamber, disturbing the inlet flow field, thus ensuring the suction performance of the pump.
The shaft seal is generally a soft packing seal; during the operation of the pump, it may allow a small amount of medium to reach the packing box, and it can also be externally connected to cooling and lubrication water, acting as a water seal and for cooling and lubrication. According to user needs, the packing seal can be replaced with a mechanical seal.
The play between the thrust bearing seat and the thrust disk is adjusted with wedges to ensure the thrust bearing play requirements according to the general assembly drawing.
