Description of the structure of the JMZ type stainless steel self-priming centrifugal pump
1. The main parts of the JMZ stainless steel self-priming pump are: pump body, impeller, pump shaft, mechanical seal, support, etc.
2. The pump rotation direction, viewed from the inlet, is counterclockwise.
3. Pump installation methods: fixed and mobile. The fixed pump generally uses flanges at the inlet and outlet; the mobile pump generally uses coupling connections. (Note: fixed pump flanges generally support a pressure of 6 kg)

Installation and disassembly of the JMZ type stainless steel self-priming centrifugal pump
1. The JMZ self-priming pump can use the "external pump installation dimension table" to make the base and determine the position of the anchor bolts. However, it is better to carry out construction according to the base dimensions after the pump arrives on site.
2. When mounting the pump on the base, wedges can be used to adjust the assembly level, and a level should be used to check the motor shaft level; the concentricity between the pump shaft and motor shaft should also be checked and adjusted. Using a precision ruler and gauges, the difference in the outer diameter of the coupling at the top, bottom, left, and right positions should not exceed 0.15 mm. The deviation between the end faces of the two couplings should not exceed 0.2 mm.
3. The pump must not bear the weight of the pipes; the pipes should be supported by support devices.
4. After installation, manually rotate the coupling to check that it turns smoothly and without jamming.
Disassembly:
1. Loosen the four screws connecting the bearing housing to the pump body, and loosen the mechanical seal and pump cover.
2. Unscrew the impeller nut (turn right), remove the impeller, key, and pump cover, then remove the mechanical seal from the pump cover.
3. Use a puller to remove the coupling, then remove the key, bearing cover, and then disassemble the shaft and bearing.
4. Pump assembly is done in the reverse order of the disassembly mentioned.
5. When reassembling the inlet coupling of the self-priming pump, pay attention that the check valve must be oriented forward to ensure the self-priming effect (see lower right image).
Mechanical seal installation:
1. When replacing the mechanical seal, ensure the specifications and model match the originals.
2. During mechanical seal installation, maintain cleanliness and do not strike seal parts to avoid damage.
3. When installing the large seal valve and the static and dynamic rings, apply a layer of clean oil and clear oil on the surface.
4. Place the static ring and large rubber gasket on the pump cover, then assemble everything on the shaft (note: the dynamic ring pin must align with the impeller transmission hole).
5. Push the spring seat and spring as a unit. Using the spring seat surface as the force point, push it onto the shaft. The pushing force should allow the spring to compress between 2-4 mm and then slide onto the shaft. If the spring does not compress and can slide, it indicates the fit between the dynamic ring and shaft is too loose, with little friction. If the spring compresses more than 6 mm and the dynamic ring and seal still cannot slide onto the shaft, it indicates the fit is too tight. It should be checked that the mechanical seal matches the original.
