    Product Description

The secondary booster water supply equipment refers to that which, in addition to relying on gravity, uses methods such as air pressure to increase the water pressure and send it to higher levels. This allows breaking away from the traditional high water tower model, being able to supply water directly from low levels to high levels. Generally, the secondary booster water supply equipment refers to water supply equipment without negative pressure or water supply equipment with constant pressure and variable frequency, both of which can be used for secondary water boosting.

    Product Parameters

Features of the water supply equipment with secondary re-pressurization:

The constant pressure and variable frequency water supply equipment is a new type of energy-saving equipment that uses advanced current microcomputer control technology, combining motor, water pump, and frequency converter into a high-tech electromechanical device for energy saving. This equipment uses the water pressure at the pump outlet (or the user's water flow) as an adjustment parameter, automatically controlling the output frequency of the frequency converter to regulate the pump motor speed, achieving closed-loop control of the pressure in the user's pipeline network, maintaining constant pressure in the supply system: when water consumption increases, the frequency increases and the pump speed accelerates; when consumption decreases, the frequency decreases and the pump speed reduces. This ensures that the user's pipeline network always has sufficient pressure (equal to the pressure set by the user) and flow (which varies according to consumption).

The water supply equipment without negative pressure uses the municipal network as the water source, fully utilizing the original pressure of the network to form a series and closed water supply method, with good energy-saving effect and no secondary water pollution. It is an evolution and extension of the constant pressure and variable frequency water supply equipment. Based on the municipal network pressure, it directly superimposes pressure for supply, saving energy, and also has many advantages such as being completely closed, easy maintenance, small occupied space, quick installation, no pollution, and reliable operation.

Operating mode of the water supply equipment with secondary re-pressurization:

Secondary water supply is a variable frequency supply equipment that re-pressurizes over the base pressure of the original network. This equipment is an ideal energy-saving device that can be connected directly to the potable water network. The equipment for high-rise buildings can solve the problem that the limited network pressure does not meet user needs, without causing any adverse effects on the municipal network. Based on the municipal network pressure, it directly superimposes supply without negative pressure, saving energy. In addition, the equipment adopts intelligent automatic superposition technology, low-pressure adjustment technology, tankless constant pressure supply equipment, stable flow compensation technology with pressure under full closure, no purification, small occupied space, quick installation, reliable operation, and convenient maintenance. The tankless supply has stable output pressure and does not affect the pressure of adjacent networks.

The secondary water supply equipment is widely applicable for various types of building supply. This equipment has advanced technology, reasonable operation, and wide applicability of water sources, being usable with surface or open reservoirs, deep wells, and other sources. It can control direct overpressure in the pipeline network, with great integrated benefits of energy saving, hygiene, and science. It adopts a high level of automation, with components that set cross pressure values as needed, controlled by PID regulators and programmable controllers for the frequency converter; with multiple pumps, smooth one-by-one planning, precise switching, stable pressure, reliable operation, reducing impacts on the power grid and extending the service life of electrical and mechanical equipment, as the pump group operates under efficient conditions, achieving remarkable energy savings.

Control mode of the stable flow compensator and vacuum suppressor

When the municipal network supply is insufficient or the user's consumption exceeds the network capacity, the vacuum suppressor opens, allowing air to enter the stable flow compensator, transforming the originally closed compensator into an interrupted water tank, suppressing the generation of negative pressure. In addition, a level control is established in the stable flow compensator, and when the level falls below the minimum, the pump stops.

    Automatic flow limitation mode

When the municipal network supply is insufficient or the user's consumption exceeds the network capacity, through feedback from the pressure sensor signal, the frequency converter is limited to prevent the pump from extracting excess water. When the municipal network supply meets the requirements, the system returns to normal.

    Pressure control point mode

When the municipal network supply is insufficient or the user's consumption exceeds the network capacity, the constant pressure and variable flow supply pump is directly activated; when the supply meets the requirements, the system returns to normal.

Principle of the water supply equipment with secondary re-pressurization:

The water supply equipment with secondary re-pressurization can set the supply pressure according to user needs. If the network pressure is higher than the set pressure, the pump set stops and potable water can be supplied directly to the user through connection pipes. When the municipal network pressure is lower than the set pressure, the equipment automatically enters the series pressure boosting working state. The set consists of pressure sensors, pumps, and a constant frequency control cabinet, forming a closed-loop control system. With changes in water consumption, it continuously adjusts the pump speed and the number of pumps in operation to maintain constant pressure. Because the flow regulator is a sealed container, when the network can meet demand, this equipment acts as a buffer between the network and the equipment to eliminate pulsations caused by the pump set. When the network cannot meet demand, it acts as a flow regulator to alleviate insufficiency during consumption peaks. The network protector installed in the flow regulator closes when the internal pressure is higher than the external, allowing the pump set to add the original network pressure to maintain constant pressure; when pressures balance, the protector opens to prevent negative pressure formation, ensuring the safety of the municipal network and normal supply to other users. When the network runs out of water, the equipment automatically stops and restarts when the network resumes supply. In case of power outage, the pump set stops and potable water can enter the user's network directly through connection pipes; when power is restored, the set automatically turns on to restore normal supply.

The secondary water supply equipment is generally installed on the surface or in basements. In units with potable water, this equipment can manage peak hour consumption, increasing pressure to meet use in large areas and high floors. In units, factories, or villages without potable water, it is enough to connect the equipment to the water source and power to obtain a stable supply of flow and pressure, meeting needs. The equipment consists of a pressure tank, pump, and electrical control system. Its great advantage is that it does not require building water towers, with low investment, small space, flexible structure, and quick commissioning. It uses automatic water and air control, automatic operation, energy saving, and automatic connection with the potable water network, being able to supply water even after power outages and without supervision after commissioning. It is widely used in companies, units, residences without vertical towers, and villages for production, life, and work. It is suitable for users with up to 5000 households and a daily supply of up to 3000 m3, with supply heights over 100 meters.

The secondary water supply equipment uses air pressure water supply. A sealed tank is used, utilizing the pressure of water and high-pressure air inside the tank to achieve the purpose of water supply. The specific procedure is that the water pump pushes water through a check valve into the tank, compressing the gas inside the tank and gradually increasing the pressure. When the pressure reaches the specified upper limit, the pressure gauge with electrical contact, through the control cabinet, automatically starts the pump. The water pressure in the equipment is higher than the external network pressure, automatically sending water to the supply network. When the water level inside the tank decreases, and the gas pressure in the constant pressure water supply tank with variable frequency expands and decreases to the specified lower limit, the pressure gauge with electrical contact of the pressure water supply equipment, through the control cabinet, restarts the pump. This repeats so that the equipment continuously supplies water. When gas is lacking inside the tank, the air replenishment valve can automatically replenish the air.

    FAQ

    Q

What products do you mainly produce?

    A

Zoomlion Pump Industry manufactures various large industrial centrifugal pumps. The main products include: self-balancing multistage pumps, multistage centrifugal pumps, single-stage centrifugal pumps, split-case pumps, chemical pumps, submersible pumps, pipeline pumps, long-shaft pumps, condenser pumps, and more.

    Q

Can you help me choose a model?

    A

Of course! If the water pump model is not selected accurately, it can cause significant problems. After you take it back, it might be either too small to meet the usage requirements or too large, resulting in higher electricity and fuel costs, increasing the operating expenses.

    Q

Why is the price quotation so slow?

    A

Because centrifugal pumps are non-standard custom products with many models and a wide price range. Even for the same model, the price varies greatly depending on the materials and configurations used. Taking the most common pump accessory—the impeller—as an example, the price of a stainless steel impeller is several times that of a cast iron impeller. Therefore, we need to clearly confirm the relevant information to provide you with an accurate price. Normally, if you provide comprehensive information, we can quote within 5 minutes.

    Q

What information should I provide when I need a quote?

    A

Usually, if you want to get an accurate quote, it is recommended that you provide us with the following information: pump flow rate, head, on-site operating voltage, frequency, temperature of the conveyed liquid, pH value, solid particle content, on-site installation conditions (horizontal or vertical installation), and other related details. If you are not very familiar with these, it’s okay; our sales manager will assist you in determining them.

    Q

Do you have centrifugal pumps in stock?

    A

There are many models and configurations of centrifugal pumps. Except for a small number of commonly used standard models that are in stock, the vast majority of models and configurations are not stocked and are customized products. We need to first select the pump based on your site conditions such as flow rate, head, medium temperature, pH value, and installation conditions. After determining the pump model and configuration, we can then place an order with the workshop for production.
