Vertical Long Shaft Multistage Pump Widely used in industrial water supply and drainage, hydraulic engineering, and other fields, its efficient operation relies on key lubrication devices. The lubrication device acts like the "guardian" of the pump body, directly affecting the pump's service life and stability. Let's take a closer look at it.

When the vertical long shaft multistage pump is operating, parts such as bearings and shaft seals generate a large amount of frictional heat. Without timely lubrication, it not only accelerates component wear but may also cause failures or even shutdowns. Common lubrication devices include oil lubrication and grease lubrication. The oil lubrication system is relatively complex and efficient, generally consisting of an oil tank, oil pump, filter, cooler, and pipelines. The oil tank serves as the storage container for the lubricating oil, providing the "power source" for the entire lubrication system; the oil pump drives the oil under pressure to the parts requiring lubrication, such as the upper and lower bearings of the pump, ensuring the lubricating oil reaches the friction surfaces promptly to reduce wear. The filter effectively removes impurities from the lubricating oil, preventing these particles from entering precision components like bearings, which could cause scratches and abnormal wear; the cooler is responsible for cooling the lubricating oil heated by friction, maintaining it at an appropriate working temperature to ensure lubrication effectiveness. In large hydraulic projects, because the vertical long shaft multistage pump needs to run continuously for long periods, the oil lubrication system, with its circulating lubrication and strong heat dissipation capabilities, becomes the preferred choice.

The grease lubrication device has a relatively simple structure and is suitable for scenarios requiring easy maintenance and relatively stable operating conditions. It mainly involves manually adding grease periodically to parts such as bearings, forming a lubricating film on the bearing surface that isolates friction surfaces and reduces friction. Although the lubrication effect and heat dissipation ability of grease lubrication are relatively weaker than oil lubrication, it is easy to maintain, requiring no complex pipelines or equipment, only periodic replenishment of grease. It is widely used in small agricultural irrigation pumps.

Besides these two common lubrication methods, with technological development, new self-lubricating materials and intelligent lubrication devices have also begun to be applied to vertical long shaft multistage pumps. Self-lubricating materials can reduce dependence on traditional lubrication devices to some extent, lowering maintenance costs; intelligent lubrication devices can monitor parameters such as temperature and pressure of lubrication parts in real time through sensors, automatically adjusting lubricant quantity and lubrication cycles according to actual operating conditions, achieving precise lubrication and greatly improving pump operation reliability and intelligence.
