    Product description

    The DK type double suction and multi-stage centrifugal pump consists of two horizontal stages Open middle type centrifugal pump Suitable for water treatment in industries such as industrial, urban supply and drainage, factories, and mining; it can also be used in agricultural irrigation, hydraulic mechanization, hydroelectric power, and other sectors. The main use and application scope of the DK type double suction and multi-stage centrifugal pump is: to transport clean water or liquids with physical and chemical properties similar to water, with a transported medium temperature from -20℃ to 80℃ and a maximum allowable inlet pressure of 0.6MPa.

    　　1. High energy efficiency

    　　It uses an efficient hydraulic model, optimized channels and structures, simultaneously reducing hydraulic and volumetric losses, allowing the new DKS series of horizontal multi-stage centrifugal pumps to have high design and operational efficiency.

    　　2. Advanced design technology

    　　The hydraulic model design uses excellent hydraulic software combined with outstanding international hydraulic designs. Through CFD technology and ternary flow theory along with meshing techniques, a flow field analysis is performed, improving pump efficiency by more than 5% compared to traditional methods. The pump body and shaft strength are verified by finite element analysis to ensure a reliable structure, stable and durable operation, and a long service life.

    　　3. Optimized channel technology

    　　The optimized channels match the pump's operating performance, ensuring high efficiency and a wide high-efficiency zone, facilitating compliance with different working conditions; additionally, they balance radial force, reduce impact vibrations during operation, making the pump operate more stably.

    　　4. High reliability

    　　The double-entry structure makes the pump sealing simple and less prone to leaks, ensuring safer and more reliable sealing; 
    All impellers are mounted on the pump shaft in a back-to-back configuration, fully balancing the axial force during operation, allowing safe operation under heavy loads when transporting the medium; 
    The rotor part undergoes strict dynamic balance tests to eliminate imbalances, reduce vibrations, and ensure stable operation with low noise levels.

    　　5. Fully automatic monitoring system

    　　The open middle type multi-stage pump can be equipped with automatic monitoring devices as needed, which monitor vibrations of bearings, pump body, motor, and mechanical seal leaks, as well as the unit's operational efficiency. The automatic heating system allows safe operation in cold seasons. The entire monitoring system operates through an explosion-proof operation column system, allowing local and remote operation.

    1. The cover and base of the DK type multi-stage and double suction centrifugal pump are connected by bolts along the horizontal centerline of the open middle plane. The two impellers are fixed on the shaft with sleeve nuts and stop sleeves. To reduce liquid leakage from the pressure chamber to the suction compartment, sealing rings are installed at the inlets of the two impellers, and the flow between them is separated by a plate.

    2. The shaft support of the DK type multi-stage and double suction centrifugal pump uses hydraulic bearings and sliding bearings. Except for pumps 100DK230 and 250DK240 which use light oil lubrication, others use dry oil lubrication. The 250DK360 pump uses sliding bearings with forced light oil lubrication. The bearings support the rotor's radial force and, after the symmetrical natural balance of the impellers, also support the residual axial force.

    3. The shaft sealing of the DK type multi-stage and double suction centrifugal pump is packing type, composed of the pump base and cover. In the high and low pressure chambers, there are water seal rings. The packing is made of graphite and asbestos rope impregnated with oil, and the water seal is drawn from lower stages. To reduce pressure in the high-pressure packing chamber, a balance tube is installed that leads high-pressure liquid to the suction chamber of lower stages. For stricter sealing requirements, mechanical seals can be used.

    4. At the top of the DK type multi-stage and double suction centrifugal pump, there is a hole plugged with a thread, used to extract vacuum or fill with water before starting the pump.

    5. The DK type multi-stage and double suction centrifugal pump is directly coupled to the motor by an elastic coupling. From the drive side, the pump rotates clockwise.

    Usually, if you want to get an accurate quote, it is recommended that you provide us with the following information: pump flow rate, head, on-site operating voltage, frequency, temperature of the conveyed liquid, pH value, solid particle content, on-site installation conditions (horizontal or vertical installation), and other related details.     There are many models and configurations of centrifugal pumps. Except for a small number of commonly used standard models that are in stock, the vast majority of models and configurations are not stocked and are customized products. We need to first select the pump based on your site conditions such as flow rate, head, medium temperature, pH value, and installation conditions. After determining the pump model and configuration, we can then place an order with the workshop for production.
