This type of pump meets the bidirectional inlet demand of multistage centrifugal pumps, greatly improving ease of operation and maintenance, allowing for simple disassembly and assembly, being an efficient and highly adaptable water pump.

     

      

           The MDSP type self-balancing double suction multistage pump body is a self-balancing multistage centrifugal pump with double inlet in volute form, independently developed by our company as a new generation of double suction multistage pumps. The pump inlets are at both ends (double inlet), with several single-stage impellers arranged symmetrically, the number of which depends on the required height, and the outlet is in the center with double suction. Impeller Constitution. Since the inlets are symmetrically arranged at both ends, the medium gathers before entering the casing to pressurize, with similar pressures at both ends, without high and low pressure imbalance, eliminating the need for balance pipes and seals, saving casing volume and improving operational efficiency. The rotor components of the impeller are symmetrically arranged, and the pump structure automatically balances the axial force generated by the impeller. The two channels merge at the outlet section for discharge, achieving a parallel of channels. This design allows for the self-balancing of the axial force of the rotor without the need for balance pipes or seals for high and low pressure areas, reducing leaks and avoiding volume losses caused by pipes and seals in traditional multistage centrifugal pumps, improving the efficiency of the pump set, completely replacing the traditional mode of horizontal multistage double suction single-stage pumping, achieving single-stage pumping and significantly reducing project budgets and operational and maintenance costs of the equipment.

      The MDSP type self-balancing double suction multistage pump is mainly used to transport clean water without solid particles, with temperatures from -20℃ to 210℃, or liquids with physical and chemical properties similar to clean water. It is suitable for water supply at medium, low, and high pressure. It can also transport hot water ≤210℃, oils, corrosive or abrasive media by changing the pump materials (or flow parts), sealing type, and adding cooling systems, being a new generation of horizontal multistage pumps for mining that can replace traditional mining pumps.

      1. Hydraulic engineering, urban and municipal supply and drainage:

      The MDSP type self-balancing double suction multistage pump is mainly used in hydraulic engineering and supply and drainage to transport clean water without solid particles and with a temperature below 80℃ or liquids with physical and chemical properties similar to clean water;

      2. Mine drainage and emergency rescue

      In the field of mine drainage, the MDSP type self-balancing double suction multistage pump is used to transport neutral mine water with a particle content of ≤1.5%, particle diameter of ≤1.3mm, temperature between -20℃ and 104℃, and other similar wastewater;

      3. Petrochemical:

      In the petrochemical industry, the MDSP type self-balancing double suction multistage pump is used to transport oils and petroleum products without solid particles, with temperatures between -20℃ and 105℃ and viscosity less than 120 centipoises;

New structure The self-balancing double suction multistage pump has rotor components with symmetrically arranged impellers, causing the axial forces generated by the positive and negative impeller groups to cancel each other out, eliminating the need for balance discs with small spaces, high pressure drop, easy erosion, wear, and failures, overcoming the traditional structure of multistage pumps;

     

    2. New technology The self-balancing double suction multistage pump has unique throttling, pressure reduction, and balancing devices in odd stages, which also act as auxiliary support;

High efficiency and energy saving The self-balancing double suction multistage pump uses an advanced hydraulic model, solving the wear and axial pulsations caused by the balance disc, maintaining excellent alignment between the impeller and the guide, avoiding significant efficiency reduction caused by wear of the balance disc and rotor displacement in common multistage pumps during prolonged use, eliminating balance water leaks, reducing volume losses, improving the overall operational efficiency of the pump, and reducing shaft power, with an average efficiency 3%-12% higher than common multistage pumps;

     

    4. High reliability The double suction multistage self-balancing pump uses a self-balancing system to essentially cancel the axial force load generated during the operation of the pump, minimizing rotor wear in the pump and system interference. A small residual part of the axial force is supported by the thrust bearing, which keeps the pump shaft always in a state of tension, with a uniform distribution of stress on the shaft and a significant reduction of the stress peak compared to the original structure, thus improving the rigidity and critical speed of the pump rotor, and notably increasing the stability and reliability of the pump rotor operation.

     

    5, High stability The double suction multistage self-balancing pump maintains high stability and operational efficiency even after prolonged operation, thanks to the excellent symmetrical combination of the impeller and diffuser, as well as the reasonable adjustment of the clearance and the wide axial throttling design.

     

    6, Good performance against cavitation The double suction multistage self-balancing pump uses an optimized hydraulic model and structural design, with a double suction structure in the first stage of the impeller, along with precise casting and wear-resistant materials, which gives it good performance against cavitation. The machine operates stably and with low noise, without the need to install an additional pre-pump or raise the height of the inlet tank.

     

    7, Mechanical seal High reliability: because the double suction multistage self-balancing pump does not exhibit axial displacement of the rotor during startup and shutdown, nor axial pulsations during operation, the problem of low reliability of the mechanical seal that has always affected multistage pumps has been overcome.

     

    8, Easy maintenance The double suction multistage self-balancing pump uses a three-dimensional design for the entire machine, with CNC processing of the rotor parts, strictly ensuring the dimensions and machining accuracy of each component. This allows for quick assembly and disassembly, and the replacement of seals and bearings without disassembling the pump body or the inlet and outlet pipes.
